Pennine View residential family centre, which opened in early March 2021, is located centrally in East Lancashire. The service provides psychologically informed, and trauma-informed, attachment supported placements for parents aged 13+, who are expecting a baby or have a baby/young child up to the age of four years on admission. We specialise in caring for young parents who are already likely to be in the care system.
The function of Pennine View is to assess the parents’ capacity to respond to their child’s needs and to safeguard their welfare.
Life Change Care Limited work in partnership with JSA Psychotherapy Limited to provide comprehensive psychotherapeutic care.
Parents are supported by the care team with advice, guidance, individual Psychotherapy and Attachment/Filial Therapy. Psychological Assessment, Parenting Assessment (PAMS), Neurosequential Development and Developmental Trauma Assessment (NMT) are available as part of the placement. Baby Bonding and Play Therapy is available for babies and children.
