Therapeutic Caregiver (bank positions also available)
All Therapeutic Care Givers must be able to demonstrate, and share, positive personal values and, ideally, understand the impact of disorganised attachment, complex trauma and dissociation. They will promote the highest standards of care, safeguarding and have good knowledge of Children’s Homes legislation and quality care standards. They will work consistently to inspire and ensure that all young people in the Therapeutic Residential Children’s Home are able to fulfil and achieve their individual targeted outcomes.
Hours: Employment is offered on a full-time or part time basis, or as bank staff. Full time amounts to 37.5 hours per week, as agreed with the registered manager, plus sleep-ins. All shifts are available working on a rota’d basis which include sleep-ins, days, evenings and weekends.
Requirements: Qualified to Level 3 (NVQ/QCF – Level 3 or Diploma – Residential Childcare (England) or Children Young People Workforce or equivalent.) (If you have NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care we will support people to achieve YPW). A full driving licence valid to drive in the UK, and access to a vehicle with business insurance is essential for the role. Due to legislation, the minimum age requirement for staff is 22 years and above. Full Induction training, mandatory training and continuous professional development will be provided for all employees. Experience of working in a similar setting is vital due to the nature of the work.
Pay: £31,152.94 – £31,698.94 per year Dependent on Experience – Rate factors in up to 2 sleeps per week
Sleep shifts paid at £91.52 per sleep (based on an 8 hour sleep shift) £11.44 an hour.

We are looking for Senior Therapeutic Caregivers to join our children’s residential homes in Bacup, Burnley and Cliviger.
All Senior Therapeutic Caregivers must be able to demonstrate, and share, positive personal values, understand the impact of disorganised attachment, complex trauma and dissociation. They will promote the highest standards of care, safeguarding and have good knowledge of Children’s Homes legislation and quality care standards. They will work consistently to inspire and ensure that all young people in the Therapeutic Residential Children’s Home are able to fulfil and achieve their individual targeted outcomes. Key working responsibilities will involve providing more targeted assistance and support to an individual child.
Hours: Employment offered on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours per week, as agreed with the registered manager, plus sleep-ins. All shifts are available working on a rota’d basis which include sleep-ins, days, evenings and weekends.
